Finally found an Ariat boot that fits a high instep, without having to go up a size! These are really comfortable. I haven't ridden in them yet but I think they'll be fine.

This is my 2nd pair of Ariat western boots. I bought my first pair a few months ago after a lot of deliberation as financially this is a big deal for me. They exceeded my expectations so when I needed a waterproof boot for a new job on a farm I bought the waterproof boot.
I have been wearing them for a few weeks and in wet weather - they are so comfortable to wear all day. They are warm so far too - haven’t had a winter yet but so far promising. I had muck boots before but after very little wear they split - considering the prices are virtually the same I couldn’t be more delighted.
I have quite narrow feet and bought the medium. BRILLIANT :)
Finally, after almost giving up hope that I'd ever find some western boots that would fit my wide feet and calves, I've finally found the perfect pair! These boots are very comfortable, not tight anywhere, the sole is very cushioned and comfortable. I've tried many other Ariat styles and all have been too narrow for my wide feet as they only supply medium width in the UK. I'm very happy with these boots and the swift delivery from BFR was spot on.
